Jacob's Blog
Hello, so far my favourite thing has been the hot air balloons at Lotte World because I could see the whole inside theme park. The only part of the ride I didn’t like was going up and down because the balloon started and stopped abruptly.
So far my most challenging thing has been my first night at my home stays because I didn’t know what was going to happen. In the end I went to the academy and I did crosswords and bingo in English class with my home stay.
My home stay’s apartment is on the 3rd floor and it’s really cool how they unlock the coded door. There is one child in my home stay family and the whole family is really kind to me. Last night we went to a Korean BBQ and we all sat on the floor. We have had so much food to eat each day I have never been hungry.
At school my class is an all boy’s class. My class is really nice and I have sat through science class twice. At break time wherever I go I get surrounded by lots of students waving and saying hello. So I wave and give them high-fives back.
So far it’s been a really amazing experience for me in Korea.
